Jay-Z And Company Sell Lease to Las Vegas 40/40 Club

Jay-Z and company recently sold the Las Vegas branch of the 40/40 Club to Sands Corp. for an undisclosed amount. The deal—for the club’s lease, not it’s naming rights—comes less than a year after the 40/40 officially made its debut in Sin City, and following rumors that the sports bar was in trouble. [READ]

    It was a business decision, obviously people in las vegas weren't buying into the off-strip location and the high drink prices. I know i went there.
  • No one sells anything unless it's not making a profit. So I'm sure it was not producing money.

    He spent more on it than it was worth bad investment. Most restaurants and sports bars do not recoup it's cost
