In 2007 Lil Wayne put out more music than most artists could dream of releasing over the span of their careers. In addition to releasing countless mix tapes, he also laid verses for a number of artists, which ranged from current Hip-Hop mainstay DJ Khaled to multi-platinum singer Enrique Iglesias. 

Wayne’s apparent willingness to put out (music) and jump on just about any track even had some comparing him to a prostitute. Rapper 50-Cent called him a “Whore” during an interview with Hot 97 last year. But not even a prostitute works for free. NEWS: Reebok Reverse Jam Mid x Monopoly

Reebok has teamed up with Parker Brothers—a subsidiary of Hasbaro (NYSE: HAS)—to release a Monopoly edition of its Reverse Jam mid sneakers. The colorway of the shoe is modeled after the Monopoly board game. The shoe is set for a late August 2008 and will retail for $84.99.

In a bid to compete with Nike—the world’s largest sports apparel company—Adidas (OTC: ADDDY) acquired Rebook for $3.8 billion in 2005. 

NEWS: Weak Dollar Means Tourists Are Poppin’ Tags

As the dollar continues to weaken, international shoppers—specifically from Britain—are taking advantage. The pound exchanges for $2, and the euro fetches roughly $1.5. That means practically everything in the U.S. is on sale for foreign visitors. And apparently their choice destination is NYC, where they can load up on American designer brands—such as Ralph Lauren, Gap, Levis, and Marc Jacobs, amongst others—for a fraction of the price they would pay back home.
